I Decided to Take My Canon FT Everywhere I Go

When I told my parents as a pre-teen that I want to continue with photography, they thought I was crazy but knew I was an artist and that I was destined to do something with art. Once my brother got me my first DSLR, my dad also lent me his Canon FT that he bought while in Vietnam for $25. To this day, it’s the main camera I use for my own personal, not paid for uses.

About 4 months ago I decided to take this camera out and invest in more film. It is now the only camera I bring everywhere. I love it. It has its issues, the photo quality could easily be better. It probably needs to be sent in to be fixed and cleaned, but it is in the exact same condition my dad brought it back from Vietnam in and I have an attachment to that fact.

I would always prefer black and white film photography but after taking a few rolls of color, I realized I have place in my heart for both. So, here I am, going to flaunt some of my favorite images of the last year or two here because, why not?
